consultation + group training contracts
I work with the Brief Therapy center team and together we work alongside professionals in managed care, county mental health, and clinical practices. Our model has sustained 60 years of practice and it is a practical model that can be used across roles and needs from SUDS to child mental health care. It can be taught to case managers, therapists to psychiatrists and other professionals.
This approach helps teams organize referrals thoughtfully, strengthen communication across providers, identify the most effective point of contact within a family system, and engage families in ways that are ethical, collaborative, and responsive—even when the identified client has low buy-in.
The result is a more coordinated way of working: using the time you already have more effectively, supporting clinicians, and helping individuals and families move toward meaningful change with fewer sessions.
